IP68 Waterproof Fiber Optical Coupler, LC to LC Outdoor Extender for Optical Network

This IP68 waterproof fibre optical coupler is designed to extend fibre connections by securely joining two LC cables. It provides a stable and low-loss link that helps maintain consistent optical performance across extended cable runs in outdoor and industrial environments.

Built for harsh conditions, the coupler features a fully sealed waterproof housing that protects fibre terminations from rain, dust, moisture, and environmental exposure. This makes it suitable for external installations where standard indoor fibre couplers would not provide adequate protection.

Internally, a precision ceramic alignment sleeve ensures accurate fibre core positioning, helping minimise insertion loss and prevent signal degradation. The robust PA66 enclosure offers excellent resistance to UV exposure, corrosion, and mechanical stress for long-term reliability.

Designed for true plug-and-play installation, the coupler allows fast deployment without tools or configuration. It is widely used in outdoor fibre networks including CCTV systems, telecom infrastructure, LED transmission setups, and industrial automation applications.
