Category: USB Y Power Cable

This USB 2.0 Type A to Type B Y power cable is designed for devices that require additional power beyond what a single USB port can provide.

The primary USB-A connector is used for data transfer, while the secondary USB-A connector supplies extra 5V power when required. This makes the cable suitable for certain 2.5 inch external hard drive enclosures and other bus-powered USB-B devices.

When additional power is not needed, the cable can function as a standard USB-A to USB-B cable for printers, scanners and compatible peripherals.

The cable supports USB 2.0 data transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps and is backwards compatible with USB 1.1 devices.

Features
• USB-A male to USB-B male data connection
• Additional USB-A male power connector
• Provides extra 5V power when required
• Suitable for 2.5 inch bus-powered USB devices

• USB-B devices needing additional current
• Windows, macOS and Linux systems with USB-A ports

Kevin C. ★★★★★

This Y cable solved my external hard drive's power issue perfectly. The extra USB-A connector provides just enough juice without any data transfer problems, and the 0.8m length is ideal for my cramped desk setup.

Emily G. ★★★★★

My old printer needed extra power to stay connected, and this Y cable’s split design fixed the dropouts immediately. The 0.8m length is perfect for my desk setup, and the secondary USB-A port powers the device without any data hiccups.

Sebastian ★★★★★

My external hard drive was constantly dropping out until I used this Y cable—the secondary power prong gives it just enough juice to stay stable during big file transfers.
