Performance requirements:

For charging up to 240W, the charger and connected device must support USB PD 3.1 EPR, and the complete connection must be rated for 240W.

For data transfer speeds up to 40Gbps, both connected devices must support USB4 or another compatible 40Gbps connection.

For video output up to 8K at 60Hz, the source device and display must support the required DisplayPort Alt Mode specification, resolution and refresh rate.

Actual charging power, data speed and video resolution will be limited by the lowest-rated connected device or component.
