Finally got this to hook my mixer's balanced outputs to my interface’s XLR input, and the signal’s clean with no hum or buzz. The brass contacts feel solid, and the nickel plating looks like it’ll hold up to regular studio patching.

I was worried the nickel-plated brass contacts might feel flimsy, but they're surprisingly solid and clicked right into place with zero noise. Exactly what I needed to bridge my gear without any signal drop.

Finally solved my cable mismatch between a mixer insert and an XLR input, and the brass contacts fit snugly with zero crackle when I wiggle the cable. Solid little metal barrel too, no cheap plastic feel.
