Category: 6.35mm to XLR Audio Breakout Cable

Connect a compatible 6.35mm TRS stereo male plug to two XLR connections with this 6.35mm TRS female to dual right-angle 3-pin XLR female audio breakout cable.

The cable features one 6.35mm (1/4-inch) TRS female socket and two space-saving 90-degree XLR female connectors. It is suitable for compatible studio, stage and professional audio setups where a stereo TRS connection needs to be divided into two separate mono channels.

The right-angle XLR connectors are ideal for equipment installed close to walls, inside racks or in crowded connection areas. A braided outer jacket, reinforced Y-splitter and locking XLR connectors provide reliable strain relief and durability for regular professional use.

Key features:

• 6.35mm TRS stereo female socket
• Dual right-angle 3-pin XLR female connectors
• Designed for compatible left and right audio breakout applications
• Space-saving 90-degree XLR design
• Locking XLR female connectors
• Durable braided outer jacket
• Reinforced moulded Y-splitter
• Gold-plated 6.35mm socket contact
• Passive plug-and-play design
• Available in 0.5m, 1.8m and 3m lengths

Suitable applications:

• Audio interfaces and external sound cards
• Electronic keyboards and synthesisers
• Digital pianos and audio players
• Portable mixers and effects processors
• Professional mixing desks
• Powered studio monitors
• Stage amplifiers and audio processors
• Recording, livestreaming and live sound systems

Important compatibility information:

The connected 6.35mm TRS male source must use the wiring required by this cable. When configured as a standard stereo breakout:

• Tip carries the left audio channel
• Ring carries the right audio channel
• Sleeve is the common ground

Each XLR connector then carries one unbalanced mono channel. This cable does not automatically convert one stereo TRS connection into two fully balanced XLR signals.

Please confirm the required pinout and equipment compatibility before ordering. This is a passive cable and does not amplify, balance, isolate or process the audio signal.

Nicholas ★★★★★

The right-angle XLR connectors are a lifesaver for tight rack spaces, and the cable feels sturdy without being stiff. Used it to connect my keyboard to the studio interface and the signal is clean with no hum.

Hannah X. ★★★★★

Finally got this to free up my mixer's crowded patch bay—the right-angle XLR connectors tuck in tight behind the rack so nothing sticks out awkwardly. The breakout to two XLR females makes hooking up a mono signal to both inputs a breeze, and the shielding keeps everything dead quiet.

Elizabeth ★★★★★

The 6.35mm female jack feels solid, and the right-angle XLR ends fit perfectly in my mixer's tight back panel without straining the cable. I've had no signal noise or loose connections since I started using it with my synth setup.
