Category: 6.35mm to XLR Audio Breakout Cable

Connect a compatible 6.35mm TRS stereo male output to two separate XLR inputs with this 6.35mm TRS female to dual right-angle 3-pin XLR male audio breakout cable.

The cable features one 6.35mm (1/4-inch) TRS female socket at the source end and two space-saving 90-degree XLR male connectors at the other. It is designed to separate the left and right channels from a compatible stereo TRS connection for routing to mixers, powered speakers, amplifiers and other professional audio equipment.

The right-angle XLR connectors help reduce cable strain and are ideal for equipment installed close to walls, inside racks or in crowded studio and stage setups. A braided outer jacket and reinforced Y-splitter section provide added durability for regular professional use.

Key features:

• 6.35mm TRS stereo female socket
• Dual right-angle 3-pin XLR male connectors
• Separates a compatible stereo signal into left and right mono channels
• Space-saving 90-degree XLR design
• Braided outer cable jacket
• Reinforced moulded Y-splitter section
• Durable metal XLR connector housings
• Passive plug-and-play breakout design
• Available in 0.5m, 1.8m and 3m lengths

Typical applications:

• External sound cards and audio interfaces
• Electronic keyboards and synthesisers
• Digital pianos and audio players
• Portable mixers and effects processors
• Professional mixing desks
• Powered studio monitors and stage amplifiers
• Recording, livestreaming and live sound systems

Important compatibility information:

The connected 6.35mm male source must provide a standard unbalanced stereo TRS signal:

• Tip: left audio channel
• Ring: right audio channel
• Sleeve: common ground

Each XLR male connector carries one unbalanced mono channel. This cable does not convert a stereo TRS signal into two fully balanced XLR signals.

Do not use it with a balanced mono TRS output unless the required pinout and application have been confirmed. Incorrect use may result in reduced volume, phase cancellation or incorrect signal routing.

This is a passive breakout cable. It does not amplify, balance, isolate or process the audio signal.

Customer Reviews (4.4 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Grace E. ★★★★★

I was a bit worried about cable noise, but this breakout cable is surprisingly quiet and the right-angle XLR connectors make it so much easier to plug into crowded patch bays. It solved my signal routing problem perfectly.

Owen ★★★★★

The right-angle XLR ends fit perfectly in tight spaces on my patch bay, and the breakout cable itself feels sturdy enough for regular gig use. No buzzing or signal loss at all so far.

Thomas V. ★★★★★

Finally, a cable that actually lets me send my keyboard's stereo output into two separate mixer channels without signal loss. The right-angle XLR connectors are a huge space saver on my crowded patch bay. No more wrestling with bulky straight plugs.
