IP68 Waterproof Fibre Optical Coupler, SC to SC Mono Outdoor Connector for Optic Network LAN Patch Cable

This IP68 waterproof fibre optical coupler is designed to extend mono-mode fibre optic cable runs by securely joining two SC connector cables in outdoor and demanding environments. It provides stable, low-loss signal transmission while protecting sensitive fibre connections from moisture, dust, and environmental exposure.

The sealed IP68-rated housing ensures reliable operation in harsh outdoor conditions, including rain, humidity, and airborne debris. Waterproof sealing on both ends helps maintain long-term performance and prevents signal disruption caused by water ingress.

Built with a precision ceramic alignment sleeve, the coupler maintains accurate fibre core alignment to minimise insertion loss and preserve signal quality. The flame-retardant PA66 nylon shell delivers excellent resistance to UV exposure, mechanical stress, and temperature variation.

Featuring a simple plug-and-play pass-through design, this SC–SC mono fibre coupler requires no configuration and enables fast, secure installation. It is widely used in outdoor fibre networks, CCTV systems, FTTH deployments, LED control systems, and industrial automation applications.
