IP68 Waterproof Fibre Optical Coupler, SC to SC Outdoor Connector for Optic Network LAN Patch Cable

This IP68 waterproof fibre optical coupler is designed to extend fibre optic cable runs by securely joining two SC connector cables in outdoor and demanding environments. Built for stable, low-loss signal transmission, it ensures reliable network performance while protecting sensitive fibre connections from moisture, dust, and environmental exposure.

The sealed IP68-rated housing features waterproof protection on both ends, allowing the connector to withstand rain, humidity, and harsh weather conditions. Its precision ceramic alignment sleeve maintains accurate fibre core positioning, helping to preserve signal integrity and minimise insertion loss across extended cable runs.

Constructed using a high-performance ceramic conduit and a flame-retardant PA66 nylon shell, this coupler offers excellent durability against UV exposure, mechanical stress, and long-term outdoor use. The rugged enclosure provides dependable protection for permanent or semi-permanent fibre installations.

With a plug-and-play pass-through design, this SC–SC coupler requires no configuration and allows quick, secure installation. It is commonly used in outdoor fibre networks, CCTV systems, FTTH deployments, LED control systems, and industrial automation environments.
